The JVP has extended its solidarity with the Communist Party of China to express solidarity with the people and Government of China on the outbreak of the coronavirus. The message expresses the firm belief that people of China and their government lead by the Communist Party of China would overcome the difficulties and make affected places again an amicable place to live in for its people.
The General Secretary,
The Communist Party of China.
We extend our firm solidarity to People of China It is with anxiety, we, of the JVP learn about the difficulties people in certain parts of China have to cope with due to the spread of the respiratory virus ‘Corona’. However, we are definite that the people of China and their government lead by the Communist Party of China would overcome the difficulties and make affected places again an amicable place to live in for its people.
The speed in analyzing the virus, finding ways to stop spreading it, taking over the control response by the centre, building makeshift hospitals in Wuhan, the center of a coronavirus outbreak in central China that could accommodate a large number of patients indicate the urgency and importance the state lead by the Communist Party of China confer on the situation. It is with the contempt that we notice disinformation and malicious campaigns carried out by certain interested parties to obscure the efforts taken by China to guarantee the safety of people’s lives and their physical health. Same time we are sure your administration will take necessary steps to identify the reasons and the weaknesses which couldn’t prevent the virus from becoming an epidemic.
We are definite that the Chinese government led by the Communist Party of China, with its ability to concentrate resources to get things done, would rise to the occasion and eradicate the coronavirus as early as possible.
We would like to extend our firm solidarity towards people of China, its committed health workers and the Communist Party of China in this difficult period.
Long Live International Solidarity,
Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (People’s Liberation Front – JVP)
