MP's Comrade Ramalingam Chandrasekar, Comrade Jayantha
Wijesekara and Comrade S.K.Subasinghe could be seen in
action in relief operations for the tsunami affected
people in un cleared areas.
They were thus seen at work in areas like Werugal Aru,
Sampur, Kiliwetti and Kattaparichchan. Relief service
force of the JVP distributed essential food stuffs
including water and cooked food among the displaced and
conducted medical clinics for them under the guidance of
JVP MP's.
Trincomalee district relief service committee of the JVP
said that they would continue with their relief
operations in the North and East.
