The JVP commemorated the 130th International Workers’ Day with a demonstration and a rally under the theme “Red May Rally to build People’s Power for a New Society, and a New Economy”.
The demonstration commenced from S. De S. Jayasinghe Stadium at 12.00 noon and proceeded to BRC grounds where the rally commenced at 4.00 p.m.
JVP Leaders addressed the participated by a huge crowd.
