Comrade Lal Premanath has been sworn in by the Governor of Southern Province Hemakumara Nanayakkara as a Member of the Southern Provincial Council. Accordingly, he attended the meeting of the Southern Provincial Council held today (8th).
Comrade Lal Premanth fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Comrade Jinadasa Kithulegoda, the Member of the Central Committee of the JVP, who represented the JVP in the Southern Provincial Council. Comrade Kithulegoda resigned from the Council due to the need of the party.
