Enemy’s mudslinging campaign cannot halt forward march of the JVP

May 7, 2016 Nihal Weerasuriya

The defamation campaign carried out against the Leader of the JVP Comrade Anura Dissanayaka by Mahinda Rajapaksa faction and a newspaper that is a trumpet of the clan has been hatched in an attempt to slow down the forward march of the JVP says the Information Secretary of the JVP Comrade Vijitha Herath MP.
He said bankrupt politicians and their henchmen, angered by the successful May Day demonstration and rally held by the JVP and the forward march that has gained support of intellectuals, artistes, workers, farmers, students, youths and other communities, spread falsehoods regarding the leaders of the JVP and the party.
However, their futile efforts would be defeated and people realizing the falsehoods of these slanders would rally with the JVP said the Information Secretary of the JVP.
