A meeting between the Palestinian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Dr. Zuhair Zaid and the leader of the JVP and National People’s Power Anura Kumara Dissanayake took place this afternoon (12) at the Janata Vimukti Peramuna head office.The Ambassador, who stated that he will return to his country after the end of his service, has expressed his gratitude to Comrade Anura Kumara Dissanayake for raising his voice against the inhumane killings and other sinister happenings in Gaza, Palestine and for his support for Palestinian solidarity. Comrade Bimal Rathnayake, National Executive Member of the National People’s Power was also present.
