Rulers have forgotten issues of masses in the North

February 23, 2016 nish

Singing the national anthem in both Sinhalese and Tamil is a good move though the government has forgotten serious issues confronted by the Tamil masses says the General Secretary of the JVP Comrade Tilvin Silva.

This was stated by Comrade General Secretary when he participated at a ceremony held yesterday (13th) to declare open the coordinating office of the JVP for Jaffna District.

Speaking further at the new office at No 298, Kandy Road, Jaffna Comrade Tilvin Silva said, “We all know that the issues of the imprisoned, disappeared and lands hurt Tamil masses relentlessly. However, governments that ruled or is ruling the country conveniently forget such issues. This is wrong.”

The Member of the Central Committee of the JVP Comrade Ramalingam Chandrasekar, the JVP Organizer for Killinochchi Comrade Rajendran, Lecturer of Jaffna University Wimal Swaminathan and residents from the area participated.
