The 3rd National Convention of the Socialist Youth Union (SYU) was held at Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium yesterday (28th). Among the invitees who partici pated were artistes, professionals, representatives foreign organizations, university lecturers, representatives of civil organizations and environmentalists.
Splendour to the Convention was added with several colourful events and among those who treated the large crowd were Nadeeka Guruge and Sangeeth Wijesuriya with their singing and music.
Delegates from several foreign organizations extended greetings and congratulations from their organizations to SYU.
