A meeting between the Ambassador of the United States of America Julie Chang and General Secretary of the JVP Comrade Tilvin Silva took place today (22) at the JVP head office at Pelawatta.
At the meeting, the current social and political situation in the country, the “Clean Sri Lanka” program and how the United States can support it have been discussed at length.
The political officer of the United States Embassy, Adam L. Michelo was accompanied by Nasir Marikkar, a political affairs expert, while Comrade Madhu Kalpana, a committee member of the JVP international division, was also present.
