Ranil Wickramasinghe, Ravi Karunanayake, Arjun Mahendran and the Rajapaksa family have stolen about 75% of the wealth from large-scale projects and allowed their cronies to loot the government’s income, said Comrade Anura Dissanayake, the leader of the JVP and the NPP. He emphasized that people need not tolerate their looting any longer.He said this at a rally organized by the NPP held after a massive protest under the theme, “Stop the robbery of working people’s funds, including EPF/ETF”, organized by National People’s Power (NPP).He said Ranil Wickramasinghe, Ravi Karunanayake and Arjun Mahendran started looting not only the wealth in the treasury but also the wealth due to the treasury through bond fraud, and it was revealed that a robbery of Rs. 11000 million was carried out through bonds. He revealed that Rs. 15000 million was diverted to their company by allowing the Wilma company to cheat with sugar imports, and they caused a loss of close to Rs. 80000 million by signing the hedging agreement.Recently, it has been revealed that two companies are selling flour for Rs. 210 per kg and stealing an unfair profit of around Rs. 2709 million per month, while the flour can be sold for Rs.165 after paying all the charges and taxes, including government taxes, insurance fees, warehousing fees and taxes. He emphasized that since January until now, a large amount of wealth has been accumulated, and the thieves who first jumped to the Central Bank, then the Customs and then the Inland Revenue Department have now broken into people’s homes, and this should not be tolerated at all. He emphasized that the working masses should come forward to protect their pension funds, and the NPP is in a continuous struggle and will be fighting alongside the people of this country. He said that Ranil Wickramasinghe cannot stop the people who are coming forward to protect the pension funds of the people by suppressing and censoring them. He said that Ranil Wickremesinghe and his cronies should step down from their thrones as the National People’s Power is ready to take over the country and build it.
